I am having the same issue with our new 160 as well. What are you using as a controller?
-Brad
We are using a 1234 poe

Ive tried consoling into the ap and factory resetting it there and there are no settings I saw to take it out of recovery mode

I have a ticket open with support. They are saying that it needs a firmware update to get out of recovery mode. There is no firmware on the website for these units, so as soon as I hear back on how to proceed, I will let you know.
-Brad
The instruction sheet included with the NV160's about RESET is wrong. Do NOT do this; according to ADTRAN it wipes out the firmware.
The AP's will then need firmware to be reloaded using TFTP.
As for the console port-- I believe the cable will be a "proprietary" cable since nothing else works thus far.
Matt
Where do you get the firmware?
-Brad
Brad, I opened a case with support and ADTRAN placed it in a server that I downloaded temporarily to the 1534P switch flash we were using and transferred to AP from there. Note: the AP's (NV160's) assign the IP address to them that reside only in VLAN1.
Matt
Thats ridiculous. What a pain. They could at least have the firmware on the site

You don't still happen to have the file do you? I put in my ticket last night and am still waiting for a response.
-Brad
I put in a ticket yesterday morning and never got a call. I could sure use that file too

Is that the right firmware? It says BSAP1840_1800v2, which is bluesocket not the NV 160.
-Brad
that's what we used to restore my AP (NV160), yes.
Ok I'll give it a shot.
-Brad
I just attempted to load from the 1234P and it said it was successful, but AP is still in recovery mode.
-Brad
Did you have to do anything after you uploaded the firmware to the 160 with tftp?
