After installing a TA 908e 2GEN. I don't have any progress tones or ringing during the call. When the pbx phone is answered, audio passes both ways, no problems.. Is there a setting for the caller to hear the ringing tone? Thanks

In that case, early-cut-through would be enabled by default and the TA900 should pass the progress tones through. Are you sure that the PBX is configured to send progress tones and ringback?
If for some reason the PBX doesn't send progress tones, try no early-cut-through on the PBX trunk and see if the TA900 will generate them locally. You won't get PBX-generated custom intercept messages but normal ringback should work.
Is this a PRI or robbed-bit PBX connection? On the PBX trunk, the command early-cut-through should be enabled by default and allow call progress and ringback tones generated by the PBX to pass through. If the PBX doesn't generate ringback, you could try no early-cut-through on the PBX trunk to allow the TA900 to generate ringback locally.
