Does anyone know of a call recording solution that can be used to record calls on a 924? We are in need of a qwik and dirty solution.
Are you using SIP trunks?
Yes sir I am!
I have used OrecX (http://www.orecx.com/) and SIPPrint (http://www.orecx.com/).
You will need to enable port mirroring on the switch that the Adtran is plugged into.
If you need a business-grade solution, I have had positive experience with DSS Equature (Equature | Dispatch Improvement, Next Generation 9-1-1 and Call Center Methods | Simplicity. Reliabi...) for recording SIP calls. DSS will install and maintain/support the recording server, which may be helpful if you prefer not to spend time on it. Their product supports speech analytic features for word recognition and reporting.
Another business-class product is TriVium SonicView (TriVium Systems - Your partner for Call Recording and Business Productivity Reporting). SonicView systems are available to record SIP calls or PRI trunk calls, in case you ever have a need for that option, and typically provide call logging/accounting/reporting features. TriVium also offers a support option.
Both platforms make use of a very nice web GUI and provide secure, account-based access control.
Good luck!

Thank you all! This gives me a starting place at least to start researching solutions. I may end up needing to do this on the analog side, for possible compliance reasons.... the parameters are a moving target so far.....talk about going to "the Way-back Machine"
If it comes to that point, then NCH provides a software solution with multiple-channel level-activated recording, suitable for analog monitoring. You'd have to connect your FXS or FXO lines to an interface which connects to a PC running the recording software. Probably dozens of options out there, but it's another business-class solution with a nice web GUI.
Let us know after you get something setup will you?
Chris
Another hosted, hardware agnostic option is www.callrecording.net
