I am running AOS R11.12.0.E and when my PRI is down, every 5 seconds their is an informational event showing that the PRI is down. When troubleshooting a configuration issue to fix the PRI, a status message every 5 seconds is ANNOYING. I understand I could do "no event" or shut the interface but I don't want to do either of those. Is their a way to change the frequency of this informational event? Ex: every 30 seconds instead of 5

George, normally that message is a one-time event, so for it to be showing up like that, it likely means your D channel is flapping. In any case, there is no way to alter the frequency of the message other than entering "no event". Thanks
Jay

Something is unhappy with the PRI or underlying T1.
Yep, I understand how PRI clocking, framing, coding...etc. work. I'm lab testing this device and I'm just thinking when we're turning up a new customer and trying to diagnose why the D-channel won't come up, that message is going to be obnoxious. I'll just have to use "no event" since there doesn't seem to be any other way.
Thanks for the input!
