My conf. bridge drops two way audio randomly for all parties connected. The bridge appears to stay up but no audio. Should I be looking at the ECS environment, switches or Ingate. I am running 4.6. I am not dropping party to party calls.
Thanks,
It would help to know the complete topology between the UC server and the phones involved on the call. Can you recreate the issue with two internal phones directly off the ECS (no PSTN calls in the mix)? If the audio drops after a specific amount of time my first guess is a firewall killing the RTP session.
Thanks,
Matt
Thanks matt…. We’ll set up a call with just internal users and begin there.
Thanks,
Were you able to isolate the cause of this problem? I would be happy to help further, but will need to know the complete topology and the result of two internal phones calling the bridge.
Thanks,
Matt
Well… at this point I know it is not happening on internal calls logged into the bridge…. I will be testing extension to extension thru VPN next. I’ll let you know.
Thanks,
Thanks for the update. It is sounding more like a firewall timeout issue if the problem does not happen locally. Keep us updated with what you find out.
Thanks,
Matt
Were you ever able to determine the cause of this issue?
Thanks,
Matt
I upgraded to 5.0 and I haven’t seen the issue again although the bridge has been used lightly in the last couple of weeks. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for the help.
