One secretary of ours has had a problem recently with callers asked to enter a voicemail password when they are transferred. A caller calls her desk, she transfers them to someone's voicemail box, then the caller is asked to enter a password for the voicemail box. This happens to a few different voicemail box extensions, not just the same ones over and over. I have confirmed the boxes do exist.
Adam, what method is she using to transfer them to the mailbox? Is it a SPRE code or a service set up on the UC server side? Thanks
Jay
All I can give you are the steps they take to make the transfer. If you
need some more specific information you may have to tell me where to find
it because I am not well versed with the UC server. We use Toshiba DKT
phones.
1- Cnf/Trn
2- Voicemail
3- #
4- (ext #)
5- TRANS (Mode soft key)
Cathy doesn't do step 5 but we both have the same problem.

Adam, if you don't have the information on hand, it may be necessary to open a ticket with tech support in order to get a screen share going and gather it. Depending on the type of UC integration with your PBX, there may still be some information we can gather. Do you know whether you're using a Dialogic gateway or Dialogic cards to interface with your PBX? Thanks
We have 5 media gateways. 2 are used for voicemail, 3 for conference
bridges. I have opened a help ticket with support but I wanted to try this
option too and see where it took me. Thanks for the responses.

Adam, this sounds like a fairly complicated scenario that will be difficult to resolve without phone support, so I'd definitely suggest going the ticket avenue. The fix is not likely to be simple. Thanks
Agreed, thank you.
