Does the firewall need to be configured for a remote phone to work? I am trying to set up a remote phone (unsuccessfully), and I have not set the firewall ACL's and Security Zones. Currently there are no Security Zones set on the interfaces. Wouldn't this allow any traffic to the boot server? When I boot up the phone, at the point it tries to find the ftp server, it says "ftp server unreachable". There is an external facing Watchguard firewall on our network, for which I have opened up the UDP port I am using for remote phones. I have gone over the instructions for Configuring Simple Remote Phones through GUI and can't figure out where the connection problem lies. Thanks for any help.
