7100 Call Logs

Jump to solution

I need to see the incoming call logs with call lengths in the 7100.  All the out of box reports that I am seeing only show the last 24 hours of logs and the reports are not very specific.  Is there a way to export a multiple-day log to csv or other format where I can create a custom report?  Is there something in the system that is already setup for this so that I won't have to create a custom report?

Thanks,

Justin H.

Justin, please reference the SMDR (Station Messaging Detail Records) article located here:

SMDR allows you to send logs to an external syslog server or (as of A5.01), save logs locally to CFLASH. These logs include, among other things, the call length.

Thanks Jay!  I was able to use that doc to help me parse the syslog into a database table and create reports from there.
