I currently own a 3448, upgrading to a fiber 100mbps. Will 4430 meet my needs?

If I upgrade to 1GBPS in speed, will it still function under that much pressure?

THanks!

@travisrigby -

The throughput you’ll see on any router is going to vary by the tasks you’re going to need it to perform – firewall policies, QoS settings, the number of VPN tunnels, and other parameters.  I’d recommend talking to one of ADTRAN’s Applications Engineers who will be able indicate what throughput you should expect based on your specific requirements.  You can reach ADTRAN Applications Engineering by calling 888-423-8726 or sending an email to application.engineering@adtran.com.

Please, let me know if you have further questions regarding this topic.
