I have a Adtran 3200 that apparently has port 12060 blocked. I am kinda new to this and not sure how (or if) I can unblock this port.
Not really sure how to access it.
Any help would be very much welcome.
Is your router new out of the box?
It should not have any port filtering beyond what is required for normal operation.
Have you got a device sitting behind your WAN that requires the use of port 12060?
Have you taken a look at this article: Troubleshooting a Port Forward or "Open Ports" that are not Operating Properly
I will be shocked if you receive any responses, I have a post that I posted on the 29 of September and has nad absolutely no reply's whatsoever!
This community "IS" the antithesis of that which it's title asserts.
No….. It is approximately 8 years old and out of warranty. I worked arpound the issue and got it resolved. ADTRAN was not any help besides want to charge me $170 to look at the issue.
Yes…. It is a few VoiP modems. The old units used Port 5060, the new ones require Port 12060. The only thing we could come up with was the port was blocked (or not open). I installed them behind my internal DHCP Proxy so an IP address would be assigned. This solved the proble. The old ones were connect direct to the T1 via a switch that routes other devices directly onto the T1.
Was actually a simple fix once I realized the issue.
I did notice the replies on other post…. Or lack thereof! Unimpressive to say the least!!!
Thanks for sending me something!
