Headset volume adjustment.

Jump to solution

The 700 admin guide states that the headset volume and mic gain can be adjusted, but only when instructed on how to by Adtran.

I have a customer with many wired headsets that are not amplified and they are complaining about low volume and mic as being low.  I was hoping to make an adjustment using the phone web interface but do not see the headset adjustment setting on the web page.

Is this only done using ip phone global config? If so what would be the recommended settings.

Brian,

After checking with Engineering we would not recommend changing any of the headset gain parameters, as there is a risk of damage.  We would recommend an amplified headset.  We have tested and approve of the wireless headsets listed in this document:

Thanks,
Matt
