Is it possible to use a Netvanta 1200 series switch to controll a Bluesocket AP or do I need to use the Bluesocket controller?
Chris
Thanks, Chris. A Bluesocket Access Point can only be controlled with either the Bluesocket vWLAN or BSC architecture. The next-generation vWLAN is a fully distributed platform which enables complete virtualization of the control plane, eliminating the need for controller hardware. Alternatively, the BSC platform is a hardware controller platform. At this time, it is not possible to control a Bluesocket Access Point with a Netvanta 1200 series switch.
Best,
Erik
