Hi all,
I have 13 Polycom 331 series IP phone connected to Netvanta 7100, when I start to dial 9 then 0 the phone hang then restart, although this does not happen in other Polycom series like IP 501 IP 430 and Adtran 712 connected to the same Netvanta 7100,
If there is any further clarification you need to order to solve this issue please feel free asking it.
Thanks,
Mostafa Aly
Try replacing it with the following:
01xxxxxxxx|0[4-6]xxxxxxxx|0[8-9]xxxxxxxx
What firmware version is installed on the Polycom phones?
Thanks for your fast reply and sorry for my latency.
Please find all information I can gather from IP331 phone.
Model:SoundPoint IP 331

The firmware version is correct.
I am not sure what would cause this.
You can try defaulting the phone and see if that fixes the problem.
By pressing 1, 3, 5, and 7 at the same time during the boot procsse.
Hi All,
I discovered some thing, the cause of the above problem is the adding of the pattern 0[1,4,5,6,8,9]X-XXXXXXX in the Extension Dial Strings of Default Setting of the IP Phone Global setting,
And when I remove this pattern the problem solved completely.
So any advice.
Thanks,
Mostafa Aly
Try replacing it with the following:
01xxxxxxxx|0[4-6]xxxxxxxx|0[8-9]xxxxxxxx
I'll try this next Sunday and feed you back with the result.
Thank you unified this work great , but what about the main reason that cause the polycom phone to hang up when entering 90, is it a bug?
I don't think "," is supported in the dial plan.
