I have been trying to dry run some of my test equipment on an Adtran 908e at my desk. The problem I’m running into is that my HST-3000 can’t pull information from the D-channel on the 908e. I was wondering if there was an easy config change that would allow my tester access to the information it needs on the Adtran?
Thanks,

It should work just fine.
Are you sure the D-Channel is up?
Make sure the wiring is correct.
The 900e series is wired differently than the 900.
My 908e and HST-3000 have power, I have plugged a cat 5 into the net 4 port on the Adtrans which is no shut on the interface:
interface t1 0/4
tdm-group 1 timeslots 1-24 speed 64
no shutdown
!
!
interface pri 1
connect t1 0/4 tdm-group 1
role network b-channel-restarts disable
no shutdown
I dont get link lights on my HST-3000 and the 908e displays a solid red light accross all of its net indicators.
Thanks for the fast reply
Try using a T1 cross over cable.
Power cycled both devices and plugged in a T1 crossover and I'm still having the exact same issues.

If everything is red then the T1 is not up.
Sorry, I should have been more specific in my initial post. The 908e is not connected to anything other than my computer and my HST-3000. My intent is to navigate through test windows on my HST while the 908e is disconnected from the outside line. I gather for this to occur the HST needs access to the D-channel to spoof the meter into thinking the PRI is up. By doing this it unlocks the additional menus I want to navigate through. Sorry for any confusion.
Thanks,

I have worked through the connection issues with the HST and the device and currently I am at the initial problem. The HST is not detecting a D-channel which prevents me from navigating through some of my menues. Is there a way to spoof my device with a config change on the 908e?
Thanks,
