Does this device have the ability to act as a DSL gateway? Meaning, is it possible to feed internet through the FXS/FXO ports on the 924 to a DSL modem?
Wav,
You'll need a mini-DSLAM to provide DSL over POTS for this application. That said, you'd run the FXS ports of the TA 900 into an ADTRAN 1248 Mini-DSLAM, in which the DSLAM would output/provide DSL over POTS (single Pair) connection to the room. See datasheet for Total Access 1248 (48-Port Mini-DSLAM below:
Total Access 1248 Mini-IP DSLAM (Part # 1179641AL3)

ADTRAN does not have a DSL version of the "E" series and you can't run a DSL connection to any of the analog ports.
We do have ADSL2+ versions of our TA 904 P/N 4212904L4 and TA 908 P/N 4212908L4.
What interfaces do you need coming out of the unit? Are you using the SIP gateway.
This is what I am looking to do,
The Adtran is connected to several rooms via RJ11(POTS) connections and we are hoping to put a Modem in those rooms to also provide internet individually. Not sure exactly what additional interfaces I need to accomplish this but this would be the most cost effective solution for us.
That is not a service you would be able to provide with the TA 900 series. What you are looking for is a DSLAM, which is a service provider piece of equipment. ADTRAN does have DSLAMs but you would have to talk to our Carrier Networks Pre-Sales for assistance with that. Send an email to applications.engineer@adtran.com with DSLAM in the subject line and that will open a ticket for you.

If you don’t need the POTS lines you can use the NetVanta 1535P with ActiveReach:

Thanks for the response.
Wow, sounds like its going to be pricey anyways. So with the DSLAM the lines off the TA900 will be broken off and shared somehow? What sort of configuration are we talking about? Is it just on the DSLAM or am I going to have to make some changes on the 924 also?
Never seen this product before. Are you saying it can utilize POTS lines and convert them to usable Ethernet connections?
It can run Ethernet over legacy copper.

No changes required on the TA 924, but configuration is required on the 1248 DSLAM. Basically, the DSLAM allows you to deliver the TA 924 POTS along with ADSL/ADSL2+ service to the room over a single pair of copper (Traditional Telephony wiring).
