Is there any way to configure the PRI to go Out Of Service(Drop the D Channel) if the SIp circuit goes OOS or the router loses communication with the SIP Host?
My PBX never shows the PRI going out of service so when the circuit goes out we cannot fail over to our backup POTS lines
Thanks
JP
Yes.
Here is how I set it up:
probe drop-trunk icmp-echo
destination
period 5
tolerance consecutive fail 3 pass 2
no shutdown
!
track test-track
snmp trap state-change
test if probe drop-trunk
no shutdown
!
!
voice trunk T01 type isdn
description "PRI"
resource-selection circular descending
busy-out monitor track test-track
connect isdn-group 1
modem-passthrough
