I would like for my mobile users to utilize their ucCompanion while offsite on their laptops. I would need to know the port used by ucCompanion to communicate with the UC server.
For UC in general, these are the typical ports in use. Keep in mind the client requesting (SRC port) could be anything, i.e. 54xxx and up.
8001, 8002 | ucCompanion Live Attendant |
5746, 7777 | ucCompanion Client |
6000 | SIP Phone Discovery adapter |
5060 | Proxy Port - SIP PBX |
5070 | Services (MOH, queuing, park/pickup, conferencing) |
5080 | Generic PBX via Gateway - 3rd Party PBX Integration |
5090 | Application Server - VM, IVR, PA, PBA, + others where additional PBXs are required |
6055 | SIM |
12556 | CSTA |
I used Wireshark to capture a connection of the UC Client and ucCompannion
UC Client info:
Looks like it uses a source port of 54269 and a destination port of 5746
ucCompanion:
Source port of 54273 and a destination port of 7777
Hope that helps. That is all I saw regarding communication from the client to the server.
