Looking for documentation on upgrading from UC Server 5.4.x to 6x

Jump to solution

I would like to move my current install from a windows 2008r2 box to a virtual windows 2012 box and in the process upgrade the UC software in the process.

questions .....

1. it appears that version 6.0.1 is supported under hyper-v is this correct?

2. what is the best way to get from 5.4.x to 6.0.1 on a new virtual machine ? Fresh install ? upgrade then move ?

thanks fro your help in advance !!

Chris, 6.0.1 is supported under hyper-v.

In order to get from 5.4 to 6.0.1, you'll need to upgrade to 5.5 first, then to 6.0.1 from there. The instructions for the upgrade are included in the release notes for each version. I would suggest upgrading, then moving.

Thanks

Jay
