I have two 7100 connected via vpn. We can talk via extension and are able to transfer. Instead of getting voice mail you hear your self talking, like an echo. I have looked at the debugs but nothing is sticking out to me. I have upgraded to latest firmware in attempts to resolve the issue. Any Suggestions?
Problem fixed. The problem was with our Fortigate 60C. To fix the issue, I followed the recommendations listed on the following website.
Can you attach the config files for the two 7100s.
Thanks!

I also need the voice user config. If you download the config from the gui, make sure you check "Invoice Voice Settings" check box. If from FTP, then grab the dynvoice -config file also.
Looks like firewall is off on both boxes, what is sitting between doing the VPN? We recommend doing GRE over VPN when connecting two remote sites.
ON the Decatur 7100, i did notice the local was not set, add the following:
voice trunk T03 type sip
grammar from host local

Thanks for working with this. I was just on the phone with one of the techs. There was a firmware difference that I am fixing right now. I will let you know what happens.
Ok, if you don’t mind updating the post once you find the solution!
