Outbound ring timeout

I have a NV7060 installed in a trucking company.  The biggest complaint they have is when calling out the phone (Polycom 331 and 650) the outbound call only rings 9-10 times and then terminates.  I emailed Adtran about this and they claim it is my SIP server that would control this.  I don't believe this is true, and here is why.  I can hook a Grandstream HT502 up and register it with the same asterisk server as the 7060.  If I make an outbound call from it, the call rings 20+ times.  The only difference is that the 7060 is a peer (no username/pass to connect to the asterisk) and the HT502 is a friend that registers with a UN/PW.  They do have the same context set however.

Is anyone else experiencing this or have you had this issue at all?

The firmware on the 7060 is - A5.03.00.E

Re: Outbound ring timeout

glitchv0,

Once we send the INVITE out to the SIP provider they would be responsible for canceling the call.  If you can get the output from a debug voice verbose and debug sip stack messages both enabled at the same time when recreating this issue we should be able to tell exactly what is happening.  It would also help to have the current configuration of the unit.  If you can get that and the debug and put them in a .zip file on our FTP server with the instructions below I would be more than happy to them and post a synopsis.

Open Internet Explorer web browser on their PC
Type the following URL:  ftp://ftp.adtran.com

Press the Alt key, click View, and then click Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer

Double-click the "Incoming" folder
Drag and drop files from PC into the Internet Explorer window

Reply to this post with the exact filenames used so we can retrieve the files

Thanks,

Matt
