I'm setting up a 7060 with a few IP712 phones for a client.
The phones go dark (screen saver) after a period of inactivity, which is expected.
One of the phones periodically lights back up on its own and stays lit until the screen saver times out again.
My client is sure to notice this and ask why it does that.
I have not been able to find an answer and I don't want to tell them "I have no idea".
Right now, my best guess is perhaps this might be related to a DHCP lease renewal or maybe a SIP re-register or something.
In any case, I need to make it stop.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and how I can fix it?
Thanks, Roy

This problem seems to have evaporated somewhere along the way...
Check and see if your 7060 or the IP712 has a "wake-up" feature, kind of like the wake-up option on a pc's Ethernet card properties. It may even be a local option on the phone itself, not the 7060 or any backend SBC server option. If on the phone itself you should be able to disable the "wake-up" feature.
