What is going on with the 7100 firmware versions? I have 3 7100's @ A5.02.00.E and today all I see is up to A4.10.00 on the Adtran website?
eliceo,
I would like to apologize for the confusion. We recently identified the issue detailed below that was present in A5.02. In an effort to minimize the impact of this issue we removed it from our website. The 7100 firmware page has been updated with a message explaining the removal. We are currently working on a new build that corrects this issue and we will post it as soon as it completes our internal testing processes.
Executing the "Rebuild All" and "Update Directories" actions from the IP Phone Configs webpage can cause all Polycom phone config files to be removed from CFLASH. This issue does not affect ADTRAN phone config files.
Thanks,
Matt

eliceo,
I marked this question as "assumed answered". If you have any more questions on this please feel free to reply.
Thanks,

Well, I stumbled into doing both rebuild all and update directories with A5.02. Do I need to just wait for an update, use a previous firmware or is there something more involved that I need to do to recover from this?
sireasoning,
I am very sorry you ran into this issue. Unfortunately once this happens you have to delete the <mac-address>.cfg files in the Polycom directory on CFLASH and then rebuild them individually from the web interface.
Thanks,
Matt
I see that A4.12.00 was released after A5.02.00 - if we go to this firmware what if anything would we be losing or what would we need to change, and is there going to be an upragde release above A5.02.00
joeln1wcf,
The release notes for A4.12.00 and A5.02.00 list the same features so functionality wise you should not lose any capabilities when moving from A5.02 to A4.12. We are planning to release A5.03.00, but I don't have an ETA for that.
Thanks,
Matt
