We had a power outage and now the Netvanta 6355 will not recognize outside phone lines. It is networked with another location with a NetVanta 7100. From the 6355 location phones can call internal extensions and can be transferred outside calls from the 7100 location. We have already had the phone company check the phone lines and they are fine. Any suggesions on what might have happened and how to fix would be most appreciated!
Can you draw dial tone and make a call from the phone line with a butt-set?
Do you have a backup configuration from RANCID or N-Command? If so do a stare-and-compare and see if there is something missing.
It could be a surge knocked out the FXO ports. Was the power outage caused by lightning? If so, RMA the unit and ground the new one to the same ground that telco uses for their protectors at the demarcation point.

Turns out the port was knocked out by the power outage (not by lightening) so the unit continues to work for internal calls only. After speaking with an Adtran tech it was determined that we have to purchase a new unit. Thank you so much for your help!
Ground it well to the same point as telco and make sure that telco's ground is good or you'll be doing it again...
