After a power failure my Netvanta 1550-48 PoE started looping and getting irresponsive with the "m_socket Fd(-1) is not a valid descriptor. connect: Connection refused" message. All I could do was to use bootstrap and bypass the startup config file. Then I just copied and pasted the old startup configuration file. I saved and it was working fine.
Here is the flash:

I was wondering if I may deleted the *.tgz files and mostly what is going to happen if I restart the switch.

Since this post is for a NetVanta 1550 and not a TA 1500, we are going to move it to that area of the Support Community to improve the chances of getting some help from the community. Also, based on the description of the issue, it may be best to open a support case with ADTRAN. A ticket can be opened on the web (adtran.com/supportcase) or via telephone (888-423-8726).”
Thanks,
Charles
Please be sure to upgrade to the latest supported firmware at all installs - R11.10.6 currently resolves many of the 1550 issues reported and found later.
