Folks:
Can anyone think of a reason I would be preventing from establishing a UDP relay for port 11430 in particular? The AOS Command Reference Guide says that any port can be specified, and this guide gives an example of a high port: DHCP Relay and UDP-relay in AOS
I've had no problem creating a relay on port 9999 or 22222. But I can't get my unit to accept port 11430 or any of the ports near it, using either the CLI or the web interface:
fw(config)#ip forward-protocol udp 11429
% ERROR Port Not added
fw(config)#ip forward-protocol udp 11430
% ERROR Port Not added
fw(config)#ip forward-protocol udp 11431
% ERROR Port Not added
fw(config)#ip forward-protocol udp 11432
% ERROR Port Not added
fw(config)#ip forward-protocol udp 11433
% ERROR Port Not added
The web interface simply says:
Error: Could not add UDP Forward Protocol.
I don't think that there's anything in the running config that involves those ports:
fw#show running-config | include 1143
fw#
The unit just refuses to do, you know, the one thing I want it to. Anyone have an inkling why? Thanks.
I'm running Firmware R11.10.1.E
