1 712 phone has the incorrect time and date

Issue with 1 712 phone not getting the correct time and date. The phone functions properly, able to make and receive calls, but the date shows 10/16/11 and the time is 9:30pm. The phone settings are the same as the others, DHCP enabled, vlan 2, L2 Tagging on.

Re: 1 712 phone has the incorrect time and date

Have you tried a packet capture to be sure that the phone is attempting to contact the time server?

Having a similar issue. Time set on factory default system is 1 hour ahead. Time zone is correct (central). Check IP configs. All looks as should on default unit.

Re: 1 712 phone has the incorrect time and date

The first thing I would suggest is a factory default of the phone: Menu > 2. Phone Settings > 9. Reset > press "Factory" softkey at the bottom of the display > press "OK" softkey at the bottom of the display.

If that does not resolve the issue I would check to make sure the DHCP settings, phone configuration files, and NTP server settings on the AOS unit are correct.  All of these are covered in this post:
