A:
vWLAN Release 2.1 and Prior Secure Web Based Adminstrative Console:

vWLAN Release 2.2.1 and Later Secure Web Based Adminstrative Console:
In the secure web based administrative console of the vWLAN go to Status>Access Points, Configuration>Wireless>Access Points or Configuration>Wireless>AP Licenses. The serial number is located in the serial number column. If the serial number column is not displayed it may be necessary to click show/hide columns to add the serial number column.
BSC Secure Web Based Administrative Console:
In the secure web based administrative console of the BSC go to Wireless>AP. The serial number is located in the serial number column. If the serial number column is not displayed it may be necessary to scroll to the right to click customize to add the serial number column.
Serial Console/SSH:
Connect to the serial console of the BSAP-18XX using a DB9 Female to RJ45 Rollover Cable and a terminal emulation program (115200, 8, none, 1, none) or SSH to the ip address of the BSAP-18XX using port 2335. Note the BSAP-1800v1 does not have a serial console port. The default username/password is adm1n/blue1socket. Choose the option for Show Version Information from the console.
Physical Inspection:
It may be necessary to read the serial number off of the physical hardware if the BSAP-18XX has not yet discovered the vWLAN or BSC.
